High-resolution VR headsets transform depth perception at the apex, but front-heavy optical housings can leave your forehead numb twenty minutes into a GT3 feature race. In this hands-on Sim Racing Nation test, we evaluate the Bigscreen Beyond Audio Strap X1-B Elite Upgrade Kit ($69.00, saving $30.00 off the $99.00 regular price) against Stock Non-Breathable Molded Silicone Cushion. With November approaching, sim racers should also watch out for Black Friday deals across Studioform Creative's multi-part upgrade packs.
Crown Suspension & Optical Sweet Spot Stability
When a headset sags by even two millimeters under heavy braking or kerb strikes, edge-to-edge clarity drops and drivers instinctively over-tighten the rear ratcheting dial. The Bigscreen Beyond Audio Strap X1-B Elite Upgrade Kit transfers vertical load onto the crown of your skull while balancing rotational torque—keeping your pupils locked in the optical sweet spot from qualifying through the checkered flag.
